Now that I think about it, this may be my first post on a blog period.

I frequently read various Sports blogs (Gonzaga basketball and area high school sports, links listed to the right) but I’m not sure if I’ve ever blogged. Oh wait, Jen and I had a blog once where we tried to hold each other accountable for working out and losing weight. That blog has since been removed for inactivity.

Primarily, this will be a blog about writing and reading but because I have a tendency to have random thoughts, a few of those may end up here as well.

This has been a bizarre week- Saturday afternoon the snow started to fall and it didn’t stop for 36 hours. We’ve had over 15 inches in Spokane and a huge storm is heading our way tonight. School will probably go into the third week in June unless they decide to make some of it up over spring break.

Although I’m not looking forward to making up the days, I’ve gotten a ton of writing done this week and I’m really happy with the way my thesis novel is coming along at this point. (My husband Tony is proud of me for writing so much but not proud of the mounds of laundry I’ve neglected for my “craft.”
